                                           Police Chief Raymond Delk Resigns

Bay Springs Police Chief Raymond Delk officially gave his letter of resignation to Mayor J.E. Smith and the Board of Alderman, which they accepted. He will be leaving the force on December 31, 2017.
Delk has been police chief in Bay Springs since 2012, and said that his goal was to bring professionalism to the police department. He has been in law enforcement for 45 years.
